The Game of Many Things
Odan is a green and fertile land that is populated almost exclusively by people who have no interest in farming or cultivation. The mountains that cut through the center of Odan have no official name, but are commonly nicknamed the Cattooth Mountains. The heavily forested slopes and jungles to the eastern side are where the majority of Tabaxi and even a few lizardfolk live. Too dense for the half orcs to take much interest, the jungles of Odan have a wider variety of wildlife than most other countries.
The Cattooth Mountains taper quickly westward to verdant scrublands and then down even further to the shore. These are the lands where the half orcs make their homes. There are no schools to be found in Odan, although if one looks carefully, you can find the monasteries that isolate themselves in the Cattooth mountains.
If Odan truly had a capital, it would be Stillharbor. This is where the majority percentage of humans live, and it is generally considered to be the last stop on the sea route. Stillharbor sits on the edge of the warm, windless sea known as the Serene Expanse. Sailing ships rarely make it father than this.
Gromaar is large for a half orc settlement, but by any other standard it is barely a city. Twice a year the heads of all clans gather at Gromaar to discuss what few matters of state they may have. This is the where the Sobark Dam make their home and is a warless place, under pain of exile or death.
On the western edge of the mountains is a city where tabaxi and humans mix. Equal parts trade, farming, and foraging, Torholme is a place of curiosities. Bizarre trinkets and ancient things seem to find their ways there, and common trade road gossip is that whatever you're looking for, you can find it in Torholme.
